Nominees Winners Creators

About

Recognizing the best of the web, one project at a time.

www+ is an independent awards platform dedicated to celebrating excellence in web design and development. We spotlight projects that push the boundaries of creativity, usability, and craft — and put them in front of a global jury of recognized practitioners.

What we do

A living index of outstanding web work

Every week, nominated projects enter a structured evaluation period. During this window, our jury — designers, developers, and creative directors from around the world — score each project across five dimensions: Design, Creativity, Usability, Content, and Innovation. The scores are aggregated into a single overall rating, which determines whether a project advances to winner status.

The best-performing project of the week earns a Site of the Week (SOTW) award. From those, monthly and yearly standouts receive SOTM and SOTY distinctions. These are not popularity contests — they are merit-based decisions made by people who build and ship on the web every day.

Alongside jury scoring, anyone can upvote a nominated project. Public upvotes contribute to the overall visibility and signal, but the final verdict always rests with the jury.

How it works

From submission to recognition

01

Submit

Creators submit their project through the platform. We review each submission for quality and fit before it enters the nomination queue.

02

Nomination

Accepted projects are published as nominees, visible to the community and open for public upvotes.

03

Jury evaluation

Our jury evaluates each nominated project independently, scoring it across five criteria on a 0–10 scale.

04

Award

The highest-scoring project of the week is crowned Site of the Week. Monthly and yearly awards follow the same logic at larger intervals.

The jury

Practitioners, not algorithms

Our jury is made up of web designers, developers, creative directors, and UX specialists from across the globe. They are people actively working in the field — shipping products, leading creative teams, and contributing to the broader web community.

Every jury member votes independently. Scores are never averaged down by committee thinking or editorial bias — each evaluator brings their own expertise and perspective to the table.

Open to new jury members

We are always looking to expand our jury with talented people who have demonstrated knowledge and a recognized track record in their area — whether that is visual design, interaction, front-end engineering, or creative direction. Applications are reviewed based on portfolio quality, professional background, and contribution to the field. There is no shortcut: we look for people whose opinion genuinely matters in the industry.
